Writer/Director

Jesse Gi’s debut feature film, co-directed and co-written with Grant E. Singer, Memo, follows two filmmakers as they encounter a startling rumor about their lead actor hours before their film premieres at a prestigious festival.

Set almost entirely in a motel room, the film strips the story to its essentials: performance, language, and the consequences of what is said and withheld. At its core, Memo asks: who do you turn to when the person who knows you best is the one who trusts you least?
